This Indian Blanket is traditionally called as “Dohar”. Block printing is an ancient traditional art followed in Rajasthan India, wherein the printing is done on the fabric, by carefully hand-pressed designs from a wooden block to the fabric. They are done by eye, and telltale signs of the human hand, even imperfections, are part of the ineffable humanity and beauty of the craft.

The process helps various local community called as Chippa (printers) to cultivate their traditional art and promote Indian design and the old heritage of India.
